St. Eve said she feared Rezko could be a flight risk. Obama has said he had no indication of problems with Rezko when he accepted thousands of dollars in campaign contributions. When prosecutors unsealed their charges against Rezko in 2006, Obama gave $11,500 in Rezko contributions to charities.

What is it that you idiots think it is that these scumbags want in return for the campaign contributions? These corrupt scum just want the candidate they are contributing to, to do them a favour, a dodgy favour, later on in the Presidency. Ron Paul is the only candidate that is getting contributions from real people. People who want to see the United States returned to it's former glory. People who the only thing they want in return is for their President to listen to them.

First of all, give me the source so I can read it for myself, and second, there are many politicians that take money from suspicious donors. I do not necessarily agree with Obama, but he is not unlike alot of politicians.

Sounds like when he found out about the allegations, Obama acted honorably. Are you so anti-Obama, you can't recognize honorable behavior? If it was Hillary, she would have waited till the press caught wind of it before she gave it away. Come on folks, do you really believe that all democrats are liars and scondrels and all republicans are saints? Sorry to burst your bubbles, but NOBODY'S PERFECT. The best we can hope for is that they act in an honorable way. Obama is the only one who has shown any evidence of honor.

This is pretty common stuff. Most candidates have returned tainted money -- especially Hillary Clinton. Their fund raising staff can't know every donor inside out.

What are you trying to prove? After Obama learned of the charges against Rezko, he donated the money to charity rather than keep it. Practically every politician, either knowingly or unknowingly, has taken contributions from shady sources. Obama did not keep the money, whereas most politicians would have. It only reinforces my support for Obama.
