Air China and JFK Questions?
I will be flying from Cleveland to Beijing via JFK in NYC in a few days, and have a few questions. The Cleveland to NY flight is American Airlines, and the NY to Beijing flight is Air China. 1. I only have an hour and a half layover in JFK--will I make it on time to my Air China flight? 2. Is there a way to print a boarding pass beforehand for my Air China flight (I bought the ticket on Orbitz)? 3. I'm carrying a 20 pound backpack and a 10 pound messenger bag. Will I be allowed to carry on both? Any ideas would be great!

1. American Airlines' MCT (minimum connecting time) for domestic->international at JFK is 40 minutes. If both flights are on the same reservation, then you should be fine. 2. It doesn't look like Air China offers that service yet. 3. No, you can only take one item on. Maybe if you tape them together it'll count as a single item.
