I am thinking of buying a set of Cleveland CG Golds and need advice on which shaft to purchase, DG or Stock.?
I am a 13 handicap and have been working my way up from an 8 over the past few years and want to move from my Cleveland CG2s with Dynamic Gold s300 shafts to something more forgiving. The strength of my game has always been the mid and long irons. I just don't get to play that often and am searching for more consistency. The stock shaft is a Cleveland branded True Temper shaft they call the Action Lite and is flighted. I have liked the Dynamic Gold because my ball flight had previously been too high, but thought I might benefit from the flighted. Does anyone know anything about the Action Lite Flighted shaft, or have any thoughts on this. If I'm moving to a game-improvement club, would I also benefit from moving to the shaft. I hit everything fine on the range, its only after several rounds do tendencies begin to work themselves out.

I'd stick with the DG's myself. I never trust these stock shafts that the manufacturers use. They don't seem to be accurate in their flex descriptions...the stiffs are usually way to whippy. Go with the S300 or S400's in the Dynamic Gold and you'll be happy.
