I need to find an afforable caribbean vacation for my honeymoon in August!?

We already have been to Mexico and are looking for another place with clear blue water and white sand! We would like to find the flight/hotel for under $3,000. We will be flying out of Cleveland. Any suggestions? Yes, I am aware it is hurricane season. We would get insurance if we needed to cancel. We were told Aruba might be an option because it is further south.

August is hurricane season, so keep an eye on the weather. It might be worth it to buy refundable tickets in case you need to make changes to your plans. Also, have a backup plan for the same reason.

Aruba may be a better option than most Caribbean islands since it's hurricane season however I believe it's expensive. I tried one thing just out of curiousity to see what this website had to offer especially price. I selected Aug. 8 to depart and to return Aug. 15 and it showed up the total of $2,549.40. This is the Cleveland-Barbados complete vacation. The cheapest hotel I selected was COCONUT COURT BEACH HOTEL and room type was SUPERIOR BEACH FRONT. Good luck.

My sister is going to Aruba for her HM in August. They're staying at an all-inclusive resort and including airfare from JFK I believe it's under $3,000.
