Can I buy a round trip ticket, both flights on the same day, as a minor?

I'm under 18 and I like airplanes and flying. I want to know if I can get a plane ticket from Cleveland to another airport (destination isn't really an issue, neither is airline unless some have weird restrictions; I'm just in it for the flight), and whether I would be able to fly round trip on the same day. I haven't been on an airplane in a long time, and it seems like it would be fun and spontaneous. Is this possible? Anyone ever do this?

well i really dont see the point but i think that there must a few hours of time between flights. however, you can book two one-ways and they'll allow it. just make sure that there is enough time to commute out of the terminal, to the check in area, recheck in with your second one way, go back through security and to your gate. and i think you can if there is a parent and you book it directly at the gate.
