Hey Dont worry about flying alone its actually pretty fun. You can bring what ever food you want but no liquids. All entertainment will be allowed i recommend a book and an ipod. Flying is very much sitting in a chair will somebody serves you and flies you. It is very safe and the pilots have more experience than any of us will ever have driving a car.

Most airlines let you bring on any food you want but I recommend checking your airline's policy online. Liquids are restricted - you can't bring ANY drinks through security but you can buy water, soda, etc once you are through security and again, bring anything onto the plane. Also, most airlines now only take debit/ credit cards for purchases so make sure you either have one or your parents may be able to buy you some kind of airline credit ahead of time. Two hours is not that long - by the time you factor in take off/landing times it's really only about 1.25 hours; a book is fine, Ipods, hand held games, cell phones in "airplane mode" and laptops must be turned off during take off and landing but other than that can be used in flight. Good luck!

Okay, i answered a similar question a few weeks ago. here is what i said My first time solo is coming up too! i'm asking the same kind of questions, let me tell you what answers i have come up with: Food To bring on the plane • Gold fish • Gummy bears • Gum • Swedish Fish • Beef jerky • Dried fruit • Trail mix • Chips • Ginger cookies • Mixed nuts • Cinnamon almonds • Raisins the food served on planes is slightly better than cafeteria food, but more expensive, also you get 100 calorie packs, and small drinks with WAY too much ice (in fact, ask for a drink with NO ice, you get way more liquid) i would NOT count on those to sustain you though. pack a few little snacks, but no bananas, dried fruit, or eggs (have mercy on your neighboring seat: these kinds of foods stink). For a non-smelly, healthy, delicious food try to get mini whole wheat pita bread and make two small smoked turkey, lettuce, tomato, avocado sandwich with mustard. NO mayo (can you say smelly?) Add a slice of lite Jarlsberg swiss cheese even. Low, low calories, healthy and will keep you going for a long time. the flight food is nothing to look forward to, so be prepared, but considerate of others (and their noses). To bring for the carry-on ï± Ipod ï± Camera ï± Journal ï± Pens/ MECHANICAL pencils ï± Wallet W/ 30ish Bucks ï± Notebook ï± Ibuprofen ï± Gum ï± Phone ï± Small Pillow ï± SNACKS!!! ï± A few NEW books to read. ï± Cards (Uno, Poker, etc) ï± Hand Sanitizer ï± Sweat shirt ï± Magazines ok, i deleted a few of the thing i originally put on there, cuz your flight is only 2 hours. Now planes are kool at first, but after a while you just get bored. your ears will POP, so when you take off chew gum ( it really helps). you know when you're on a freeway for a long time and you hear a quiet hair-dryer-like sound? well, imagine that 10 times louder and for however long your flight is. so 2 hours, for you. its pretty annoying. have fun! get excited! hope i helped!
