Do you buy domestic flight ticket in advance

Do you buy domestic flight ticket in advance?
I will have to go from Cleveland to West Lafayette, IN. But it's my first time to U.S, I am not sure how flight system goes. Can I buy ticket after I reach cleveland (6,Aug, I will leave at 10th Aug), or should I buy in advance(i'm currently in Japan). Do you think the domestic flight is very frequent that I can buy ticket whenever I go? Beside, West Lafayette is a very small town in IN, I wonder would there be flight between it and cleveland....Help!!!

Always book tickets in advance, its much cheaper. Check out Orbitz.com or Kayak.com Buying tickets on the day is much more expensive and you risk the flight being full too.

Do it online. http://www.city.west-lafayette.in.us/egov/apps/search/results.egov?ss=1&ss_cq=map Airport is http://www.purdue.edu/airport/ but it has no airline services. Indianapolis 65 miles away is nearest and has lots of flights to and from Cleveland. http://www.clevelandairport.com/site/506/Default.aspx http://cle.innosked.com/%28S%281r5esw550hfrsa55j1otqy55%29%29/Default.aspx United and Continental fly direct. Go to their sites and you can book a ticket.
